What Audiken sends to your browser that others made and shared, and the licences it comes under.
The speech model
Transcription on this device uses Parakeet, an open speech model from NVIDIA.
On devices that can do it, your browser downloads NVIDIA Parakeet unified 0.6B (nvidia/parakeet-unified-en-0.6b) and runs it to turn speech into text. It is used in the ONNX form made for browsers by mrfakename (huggingface.co/mrfakename/parakeet-unified-ONNX, revision a34b30ffd9dc): the preprocessor, the 4-bit encoder, the 8-bit decoder and the vocabulary, unchanged.
