Math solver

A step-by-step math solver that follows your course

Type a problem or photograph it. Audiken solves it one step at a time with the formulas and notation from your own course, checks your working without handing you the answer, and writes fresh practice problems until the method sticks.

Accounts are opening a few at a time. No card needed, and one email when yours is ready.

Seven tools in one tab

  • Step-by-step solver: every step has a reason, and you can ask “why?” on any of them
  • Check my working: photograph your page and find the first line that went wrong
  • Formula sheet built from your course files, with every symbol explained
  • Practice with fresh numbers, with answers verified by calculation
  • Calculator, including time value of money in the key order of a BA II Plus
  • Grapher for plotting and comparing functions
  • From the lecture: maths said aloud in a recording opens here in one click

How it works

  1. Give it the problem

Type it, paste it, or take a photo of the question or your handwriting.

  2. Work through the steps

Each step shows what is done and why. Stuck on one? Ask about that step alone.

  3. Practise until it is easy

Get the same kind of problem with different numbers, try it yourself, and have your working checked.

The method your course uses, not just an answer

Most solvers give a correct answer in a way your lecturer never taught. Audiken reads your course files first. It uses the formulas as your slides write them, with the same symbols, and tells you which file a formula comes from. Where your course does not cover a method, it says so.

Numbers checked by a calculator, not by the AI

Language models are good at method and unreliable at arithmetic. So wherever a step produces a number, Audiken recomputes it with a real calculation engine and shows only what agrees. Practice problems are verified the same way before you see them, which is how it can also tell you which common mistake a wrong answer came from.

Check your working, not just your answer

Photograph your handwritten solution. Audiken reads it line by line, tells you which lines are right, and stops at the first one that is not. It gives a hint before it gives the fix, so you get a chance to find the mistake yourself. That is the part that makes you better at the next problem.

Made for finance and business maths too

The calculator solves time-value-of-money problems (present value, future value, payments, rate and periods) and shows the keystrokes in the order a Texas Instruments BA II Plus expects, so you can repeat it on the calculator you will have in the exam.

Questions about the math solver

What kinds of maths can it do?

Course-level problems in arithmetic, algebra, statistics, finance and introductory calculus, and word problems built on them. It is strongest where an answer can be calculated and checked.

Is it always right?

No tool is. Audiken reduces mistakes by recomputing every number with a calculator engine and by working from your course’s own formulas, and it shows each step so you can follow the reasoning. Check anything that matters.

Can it read my handwriting?

Yes, from a photo taken in the app or added from your files. Clear writing and good light help.

Can I use it in a test?

No. It is for learning the method and practising. Follow your course’s rules about what is allowed in assessments.

Do I need a graphing calculator?

Not for studying. The grapher plots functions you type, and can read a function from a photo of your notes.

Learn the method, not just the answer.
