Audiken for meetings

The answer while the question is still in the air.

Audiken listens from your own laptop. It writes the transcript, and when someone asks what was quoted, what a term means or what was agreed last time, it answers from your project’s files in seconds. Afterwards, ask for the summary, the action items or the follow-up, and get it with sources.

Accounts are opening a few at a time. No card needed, and one email when yours is ready.

Most meeting tools hand you a summary afterwards

That helps with remembering. It does nothing for the moment you are asked a question and the answer is in a file you cannot open fast enough.

During the meeting

A live transcript. Beside it, short answers when a question is asked, an acronym goes by, or a number is worked out loud, each with the file and page it came from.

Right after

The transcript is checked against your files, so names, products and terms are spelled the way you spell them. It is filed by date with a short summary.

Weeks later

“What did they say about the renewal?” Ask across every meeting and every file for a client or a project, and get the answer with the date it was said.

Answers from your own files, live

Make a space for a client or a project and add what you have: the proposal, the contract, the deck, the spreadsheet. While the meeting runs, Audiken uses them.

  • Questions put to the room, answered from your files
  • Acronyms and jargon, expanded the moment they are used
  • Numbers worked out loud, written out and checked
  • Decisions, owners and dates, caught as they are said
  • “Catch me up”, if you joined late or stopped listening

Then the notes write themselves

Each of these is one press in a project’s chat, written from the transcript and your files, with a source on every point.

  • Summary and action items: decisions, who owes what and by when, open questions
  • The follow-up email, drafted for you to send
  • A briefing for the next meeting: where things stand and what is still open
  • Real files: a Word document, a deck, or a forecast built in Excel from the project’s numbers

How it works

  1. Make a space for the project

Choose “Meetings and projects”, then add the files that matter: proposals, contracts, decks, spreadsheets.

  2. Press record when the meeting starts

In the room or on a call. Say that you are recording. The transcript and the answers appear as people speak.

  3. Ask for what you need

The summary, the action items, the follow-up, or a question about something said three meetings ago.

What it does not do

It is better to know before you rely on it.

  • It does not join the call. It hears your laptop’s microphone: your voice, the room, and whatever plays through your speakers. With headphones on, it hears only you.
  • It does not label speakers by name.
  • It does not connect to your calendar, email or chat tools, and it never sends anything on your behalf.
  • It understands English only, for now.
  • Spaces are not shared. Each account is one person’s.

Tell people you are recording

Because nothing announces Audiken, you have to. Say at the start that you are recording and transcribing for your notes, and stop if anyone objects. In many places the law requires everyone in a conversation to agree before it is recorded, and many employers and clients have their own rules on top of that. This is general information, not legal advice.

Questions about meetings

Does a bot join my call?

No. Nothing joins the meeting, appears in the participant list or posts in the chat. Audiken runs in a browser tab on your own laptop and listens through its microphone.

Does it work with Zoom, Teams and Google Meet?

Yes, alongside any of them, and in a room with no call at all, because it listens to the room and not to the app. Play the call through your laptop’s speakers: with headphones on, it can only hear you.

Does it say who said what?

Not yet. The transcript has a time on every line but does not label speakers by name. When you ask for action items, it works out owners from what was said, such as “Priya, can you send that by Friday?”.

Is what I record kept confidential?

It is kept in your own account, apart from everyone else’s, and you can delete it at any time. To do its job, Audiken sends content to a small number of services, each named in the privacy policy. The AI provider states that it does not train its models on this content. Check your employer’s and your clients’ rules before recording anything sensitive.

Can my team share a space?

Not yet. Each account belongs to one person. You can export any transcript, summary or document and send it on.

Does it send the follow-up for me?

No. It writes the follow-up, the summary or the document and saves it in your space. Sending it is up to you.

What does it cost?

The free plan includes 1 hour of recording a month and needs no card. Premium is $26.99 CAD a month for 8 hours of recording, a much larger AI allowance and our most capable AI.
